What is Whippy AI Recruiter?

Whippy AI Recruiter is a voice AI agent that calls and screens candidates for you. It follows up with new applicants, asks screening and job-specific questions, and gives your recruiters a summary and score for each candidate so they can focus on the best fits.
What it does
Reaches out to new applicants. When candidates apply, AI Recruiter can contact them by text and phone so they hear from you quickly.
Runs the screening call. The agent asks your standard screening questions plus questions tailored to the job the candidate applied for.
Scores and summarizes the call. After the call, an internal note is added to the candidate's conversation in Whippy with a score, key highlights, and any flags.
Updates your ATS. Depending on your setup, results such as status, skills, and notes can be written back to your ATS.
Notifies your recruiters. Recruiters can receive an email summary for candidates on their jobs.
Sends helpful texts. The agent can text candidates details like an address or next steps during or after the call.

Getting started
AI Recruiter is set up with your Whippy team during onboarding, including connecting your ATS and your phone channel. Contact your Customer Success Manager to get started or to request changes to an existing agent.
Tips
Clear, specific job descriptions lead to better job-specific questions and more accurate scoring.
Review a few call recordings in your first weeks and share feedback with your Customer Success Manager.
If the agent mishears a name or term, ask to add it as a boosted keyword.
