Edit a contact when you need to correct or update the contact’s saved information in Whippy.

Edit a contact

  1. Open Contacts or open the contact profile from a conversation.

  2. Find and select the contact you want to update.

  3. Click the edit option.

  4. Update the contact details.

  5. Save your changes.

Tips

  • Keep phone numbers and email addresses accurate to avoid messaging issues.

  • Review language and opt-out fields carefully because they can affect future communication.

  • If contact data syncs from another system, confirm where the source of truth lives before editing.

Troubleshooting

  • If you cannot edit a contact, confirm your permissions.

  • If a field keeps changing back, it may be syncing from an integration.

  • If changes do not save, check required fields and try again.
