How do I clear my browser cache?

Clear your browser cache when Whippy appears outdated, visually incorrect, or stuck after a product update.

Before you start

  • These steps are for Google Chrome.

  • Only clear cached images and files if you want to avoid clearing cookies or logging out.

Steps

  1. Open Google Chrome.

  2. Select the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

  3. Hover over More tools.

  4. Select Clear browsing data.

  5. Uncheck Browsing history.

  6. Uncheck Cookies and other site data.

  7. Make sure Cached images and files is checked.

  8. Select Clear data.

  9. Refresh Whippy.

Tips

  • Clearing cached images and files should not log you out if cookies remain unchecked.

  • Use this when troubleshooting display or loading issues.

  • Refresh Whippy after clearing cache so the browser loads the latest version.

Troubleshooting

  • If you still see old content, hard refresh the page after clearing cache.

  • If you are logged out, cookies may have been cleared too.

  • If Chrome menu labels differ, search Chrome settings for “Clear browsing data.”
