What are campaigns?

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Campaigns let you send SMS, email, and WhatsApp messages at scale, manage audiences, schedule delivery, track engagement, and follow up based on results.

What you can do with campaigns

  • Create SMS, email, or WhatsApp campaigns.

  • Build audiences from contacts, lists, tags, segments, uploads, or filters.

  • Exclude contacts manually or with safety settings.

  • Write channel-specific messages.

  • Schedule, batch, or repeat sends.

  • Track delivery, responses, link clicks, unsubscribes, and other results.

  • Use links, forms, templates, and automations to support campaign workflows.

Campaign lifecycle

  1. Choose the channel.

  2. Create from scratch or start from a template.

  3. Complete basic info.

  4. Build the audience.

  5. Write the message.

  6. Configure schedule and settings.

  7. Add automations if supported.

  8. Preview and test.

  9. Send or schedule.

  10. Review analytics after completion.

Key areas

  • Drafts: Campaigns still being edited.

  • Scheduled: Campaigns planned for a future send time.

  • Recurring: Campaigns that repeat on a schedule.

  • Complete: Finished campaigns with results and analytics.

  • Archived: Campaigns removed from the default active views.

Tips

  • Use clear campaign names for internal tracking.

  • Review audiences and excluded audiences before sending.

  • Send a test message before launching.

  • Use analytics to improve future targeting and message content.

Troubleshooting

  • If you cannot find a campaign, check the correct channel and status tab.

  • If sending is blocked, review required sections and save each section.

  • If contacts receive too many messages, adjust audience safety settings and recent-campaign exclusions.
