How do I search for a conversation by contact name?

Search by contact name when you know who the conversation is with.

Search by contact name

  1. Open Inbox.

  2. Click the search bar.

  3. Type the contact’s full or partial name.

  4. Review the matching conversations.

  5. Select the conversation you want to open.

Tips

  • Use the full contact name for the most accurate results.

  • Try a partial name if you are not sure how the contact is saved.

  • If multiple contacts have similar names, confirm the phone number or conversation history before replying.

Troubleshooting

  • If no results appear, try a different spelling or a shorter search term.

  • If too many results appear, add more of the contact’s name.

  • If the contact does not appear, confirm the contact or conversation still exists.
