How do I search conversations by message keyword?

Search by message keyword when you remember part of a message but do not know exactly which conversation it was in.

Search by message keyword

  1. Open Inbox.

  2. Click the search bar.

  3. Enter a keyword or phrase from the message you want to find.

  4. If available, switch to the message-focused search results.

  5. Review the matching conversations or messages.

  6. Select the result you want to open.

Tips

  • Use specific words or phrases that are likely to appear in the message.

  • If no results appear, try a shorter or broader keyword.

  • If too many results appear, add another specific word to narrow the search.

Troubleshooting

  • If the result does not appear, confirm the message exists in Whippy and was not deleted.

  • If the search finds the wrong content, try a more unique phrase.

  • If the result does not jump to the message, open the conversation and search within that conversation.
