How do I search for a conversation?

Use inbox search to find an existing conversation without scrolling through the full conversation list.

Search for a conversation

  1. Open Inbox.

  2. Click the search bar at the top of the conversation list.

  3. Enter the contact name, phone number, or other supported search term.

  4. Review the search results.

  5. Select the correct conversation to open it.

Tips

  • Use a full name or complete phone number when possible.

  • If you are unsure of the exact name, try a partial name.

  • Clear the search bar when you want to return to the full inbox view.

Troubleshooting

  • If there are no results, check spelling or try a broader search.

  • If too many results appear, use a more specific term.

  • If the wrong conversation opens, confirm the contact details before selecting the result.
