How do I search conversations by phone number?

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Search by phone number when you know the phone number associated with the conversation.

Search by phone number

  1. Open Inbox.

  2. Click the search bar.

  3. Enter the full or partial phone number.

  4. Review the matching conversations.

  5. Select the correct conversation to open it.

Tips

  • Use the full phone number for the most accurate results.

  • Try searching with and without spaces, dashes, or country code if results do not appear.

  • If a partial number returns too many results, enter more digits.

Troubleshooting

  • If no results appear, check the number formatting and try again.

  • If multiple conversations appear, confirm the contact details before replying.

  • If the conversation does not open, refresh the page and retry.
