Where do I find Settings-related docs in Whippy?
Last updated: November 5, 2026
Some Settings navigation items are documented in other product collections because their main workflows belong to data, developer, or integration areas.
Before you start
Use this article when you are looking for documentation for a Settings sidebar item.
Check the collection that matches the workflow, not only the place where the navigation item appears.
Steps
Open Settings and locate the navigation item you need.
Use Settings articles for Profile, Notifications, Preferences, General, Channels, Calls, Messaging, Webchat, Users and teams, Accounts, Trust center, Audit logs, Billing, Usage, Templates, Signatures, Import data, and Domains.
Use Contacts & Data articles for Tags, Objects, and Channel mapping.
Use Developers articles for API keys, webhooks, and developer setup.
Use Integrations articles for connected app setup and integration-specific workflows when available.
Use Settings > Import data when you are uploading data directly into Whippy rather than syncing from an integration.
Tips
Do not duplicate a full Contacts & Data workflow in Settings just because the link appears in Settings navigation.
Add short cross-links when a Settings navigation item points to another product area.
Use exact navigation labels such as Tags, Objects, Channel mapping, Developers, and Integrations.
Keep cross-links updated when the Settings sidebar changes.
Troubleshooting
If a Settings item has no full article in Settings, check whether its main workflow belongs to another collection.
If Tags, Objects, or Channel mapping docs are hard to find, look in Contacts & Data.
If Developers or Integrations docs are missing from Settings, use their dedicated collections for detailed setup steps.
