How do I update my preferences in Whippy?

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Use Preferences settings to control your personal Whippy interface and inbox behavior.

Before you start

  • Preferences are user-specific and affect your own Whippy experience.

  • Use Profile settings instead when you need to manage two-factor authentication.

Steps

  1. Open Settings from the sidebar.

  2. Select Preferences.

  3. Choose the theme you want to use.

  4. Choose an accent color for your interface.

  5. Select the text size that is easiest for you to read.

  6. Choose a preferred channel if you regularly send from the same channel.

  7. Turn Enter to send on if pressing Enter should send messages.

  8. Turn Enter to send off if pressing Enter should create a new line in the message editor.

Tips

  • Use a larger text size if you spend long periods in Whippy or need better readability.

  • Choose a preferred channel when you usually send messages from one number or inbox.

  • Turn off Enter to send if you often write multi-line replies.

  • Use Shift + Enter for a line break when Enter to send is enabled.

Troubleshooting

  • If the wrong channel is selected when composing, return to Settings > Preferences and select a current channel you can access.

  • If pressing Enter sends messages unexpectedly, turn Enter to send off or use Shift + Enter for line breaks.

  • If two-factor authentication is not visible in Preferences, open Settings > Profile instead.
