How do I configure sequence settings?
Last updated: November 5, 2026
Sequence settings control how a sequence is identified, who can access it, how contacts move through it, when messages send, and how tracking or routing works.
Before you start
Open the sequence you want to configure.
Decide how contacts should enter, respond, re-enter, and exit the sequence.
Confirm any compliance-related timing rules you need, such as quiet hours or business hours.
Steps
Go to Sequences.
Select the sequence you want to configure.
Click the gear icon to open Sequence Settings.
Review Basic Information, including title, description, sequence type, and access level.
Configure contact behavior, including what happens when a contact responds and whether contacts can be re-added.
Set frequency limits and maximum active time if needed.
Configure timing rules, such as quiet hours, weekend sending, and business-hour sending.
Configure link tracking and tracking domain if needed.
Configure call flow routing if the sequence uses call-related steps.
Click Save Sequence.
Tips
Use reply-based removal for conversational workflows.
Use frequency limits for dynamic or recurring enrollment sources.
Enable quiet hours or business hours when timing matters for compliance or reply quality.
Review settings before adding large contact lists.
Troubleshooting
Messages send at unexpected times: Review quiet hours, weekends, and business-hour rules.
Contacts enter too frequently: Set enrollment limits.
Contacts stay in the sequence after replying: Change response behavior to remove on reply.
Link tracking is not working: Enable tracking and choose the correct domain.
Calls do not route correctly: Enable call flow and confirm routing.
